You can make an immediate donation to the Lamèque Hospital and CSC Foundation, which will allow us to address our hospital's urgent needs right away. You can also plan your gift now to be received by the Foundation at a later date.

Annual Campaign
Each year, the Foundation addresses the urgent needs of the Lamèque Hospital and Community Health Centre to support its delivery of care and services. It receives a list of requests that can range from a few thousand dollars to several hundred thousand dollars.

In 2026, we want to join forces once again, in a spirit of collaboration and mutual support, to uphold the hospital's vital role in our community. Every donation directly helps improve our services, upgrade equipment, and support the essential work of our care teams.
Participating in the campaign is a simple yet meaningful way to support everyone's health. Better-adapted equipment allows for safer, more efficient care, while helping patients return home sooner with the support they need for their recovery.
Our goal for 2026 is to raise $49,000. These funds will go toward purchasing essential equipment and improving key services in the following departments:

Allows patients with reduced strength to stand up without needing a harness lift. This helps them continue to engage their upper body muscles and maintain a degree of independence.
Medical chair
Designed to ensure patient comfort and safety, the treatment chair for the appointment-based and outpatient clinics is a specialized medical chair with ergonomic adjustments that allow for proper patient positioning during care.
Medicine
Sofa bed
Adding a sofa bed to the staff lounge would allow employees to rest on-site during storms or unexpected events, improving their well-being and availability. This increased comfort directly impacts the quality and continuity of care provided to patients.
Spiritual care
Provided by qualified professionals, this care is tailored to each individual’s values and beliefs—whether spiritual, philosophical, or personal—and complements medical treatment by supporting those facing suffering, uncertainty, or end-of-life care.
Endowment fund and regional projects
Your generosity also supports our endowment fund, a lasting investment in the quality of care today and tomorrow. You are also supporting regional initiatives that make a tangible difference in the lives of our community members.

An endowment fund generates a stable and predictable stream of income for our foundation. It is part of our ongoing mission to invest primarily in improving healthcare at the Hôpital de Tracadie. These funds are invested, and only the interest is used to support the Foundation and the facility, both now and for future generations.
